Hyperspectral metal-sorting robot using perClass machine learning

Metal sorting using Hyperspectral imaging

Customer story

University Liège has been using perClass to sort metals based on hyperspectral imaging. Classifying metals in hyperspectral images is very challenging task due to noise and flat spectral responses. perClass is used not only for classifier training but also for real-time deployment.

Our stand in the Vision Trade fair

Impression from the Vision fair in Stuttgart

From the blog

What exciting time we had last November at the Vision Trade Fair, the world's leading machine vision event. While few years back, we had to explain what we mean by Machine Learning, today's environment and public perception entirely changed. There is a massive interest in machine learning and deep learning in general public. There is also a great need for the practicality we stand for and bring to the market.

Autumn perClass course was fully booked again

From the blog

autumn machine learning training course. Feature extraction and Deep learning explained.

Last October course we welcomed a group of 10 researchers from The Netherlands, Mexico and Germany. Participants brought in a lot of enthusiasm and interest especially in Deep Learning. As usual, we had researchers working on very different applications: From industrial quality control of machine parts and fruit sorting to cancer diagnostics with hyperspectral imaging, ECG brain signal monitoring, classification of mosquito species, gait recognition and text mining. Thank you for the nice week together.
