Hypertools toolbox

Hypertools is a Matlab toolbox for hyperspectral imaging, developed by Dr.Pavel Paclik and Sergey Verzakov between 2003 and 2005 at TU Delft in the STW project DTF.5699. This page provides access to Hypertools which is, due to TU Delft website reorganization (mid-2010), not reachable from its original web page at:
http://ict.ewi.tudelft.nl/~pavel/spectra/hypertools.html.

Hypertools is available free of charge only for academic use. See its license for details. Hypertools is not actively maintained and is not supported.

Hypertools features

  • integration of spectral-specific algorithms into PRTools-based framework (datasets, mappings)
  • basic preprocessing algorithms (baseline subtraction, normalization to a unit area, smoothing of spectra)
  • interactive visualization of spectral images linking the image, spectral and derived feature-based or dissimilarity-based representations (see the screenshot)
  • dissimilarity measures for spectral data (SAM, Kolmogorov, Matching dist., quadratic form distance, Kullback-Leibler,...)
  • feature extraction for spectral data (Generalized Local Discriminant Bases GLDB, Simca, ...)
  • spectra-specific classifiers (minimum distance, correlation-based, SAM,...)
