the function sdfeatsel is comprehensively described.
However, in my toolbox (Version 2.1.0) this function does not exist.

Do I have to update to a later version, or am I missing something here.

welcome to our forum! sdfeatsel was introduced in the 2.2.2 release. You will need to upgrade to use it.
The latest available release is 2.2.3 (29-jul-2010).
